The TCR Group, headquartered in Brussels, is the leading provider of turnkey solutions in the field of total GSE management. The Group is active since 1999 in providing Ground Support Equipment Maintenance, Rental, and Fleet Management to Ground Handlers, Airlines, and Airports. The GSE term encompasses all equipment used in aviation ground operations, such as; push-back tractors, loaders, tractors, belt loaders, catering trucks, ground power units and air starter units, tow-bars, trailers-dollies, baggage carts, and other general equipment in an airport.

Job Description

We have an exciting new role within our Australian business, available for an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Engineer keen to join a supportive and collaborative team on full-time basis.  This is a dynamic new role crucial to the operation, and is responsible for providing diverse support across multiple projects to our national operations and broader teams both local and international to ensure workflow and project outcomes.  

Operating across six airports in Australia, this role will be involved in the day to day support of operational processes and reporting, as well as coordinating and being heavily involved in multiple projects including; telematics and asset management, new project management, delivery and commissioning of GSE equipment, refurbishment programs, reporting development, and training programs.

Specific Tasks

  • Acting as a key communication node on all projects, including liaising closely with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Purchasing, HR, Business Development etc)
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on the telematics integrated to the TCR fleet, and leading the ongoing developments through to implementation (including the development of reporting for internal and external use)
  • Project management, Logistics & Asset commissioning - Support with Internal movements of assets, both domestic and Internationally, and ensure successful delivery of GSE to the end customer
  • Operation Systems, Processes, and Reporting – Assist in the reporting on operational KPI’s, process improvement, and general administration of operations
  • Tracking and reporting on refurbishment programs, including CAPEX applications, and SCRAPEX with local and international teams
  • Assisting in the safety & quality programs across the operations

Skills and experience:

  • We are seeking a graduate engineer ideally with study in the mechanical/manufacturing/aviation disciplines. A general mechanical aptitude is a favourable attribute
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High energy, and a drive to grow and learn the Aviation GSE industry
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft software
  • An eye for detail
  • The ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • A great attitude and team-player approach
