ABOUT THE JOB

 

To support our expansion plans in North-America, TCR is looking for a passionate and hands-on Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will ensure a smooth and efficient running of accounting, financial reporting, invoicing, billing and collection processes. The Senior Accountant will provide guidance and support on a range of accounting and administrative matters. Furthermore, the Senior Accountant will support the organization with other administrative and project related tasks related to the start-up of this new entity within the TCR global organization.

WHERE YOU'LL CREATE THE MOST IMPACT

You will be supporting our business by being responsible for:

Accounting:

  • Preparation of financial statements and monthly reports
  • Review, maintenance and booking of general ledger accounts
  • Preparation and booking of journal entries, general ledger accounts and transactions, expense reports, supplier and sales invoices
  • Supplier invoicing approval process
  • Compliance with local, state and federal reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Maintenance of accounting related records and files
  • Cash flow and work capital analysis
  • Management of bank accounts for the different legal entities
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparation payments and payment reports
  • Preparation budgets and forecasts
  • Management fixed assets

Work order administration & invoicing:

  • Follow-up and coordination of work in progress
  • Invoicing to customers
  • Ownership and management of work order and spare parts management process, provide training to operations
  • Drive accuracy and completeness of the work order process in the organization

Other financial and accounting related matters:

  • Management of business and tax registrations in different US states
  • Owner of the ‘Corporate Records’ data base for different legal entities
  • Coordination and follow-up of employee expense reporting
  • Follow-up of insurances
  • Contract management (suppliers and customers)
  • Mail handling and distribution

Other: Support start-up of TCR’s new business in North-America by supporting operations and management with administrative tasks

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Holds a Bachelor or Master’s degree
  • Has proven experience as senior accountant
  • Certified Public Accountant is a plus
  • Has strong understanding of accounting procedures in the US (different states and/or national reach is a plus)
  • Has experience using ERP systems or various accounting software
  • Is able to handle confidential information
  • Has good analytical skills, excellent with numbers and an eye for details
  • Has problem-solving skills and is a strong planner and organizer
  • Is result driven, pro-active with a dynamic personality
  • Works independently
  • Has excellent MS Office skills (Excel and Word)
  • Has good oral and written communication skills in English, any other language is a plus
